Rooms

How many rooms are there in the hotel?

The hotel has 29 rooms in total, spread over 2 buildings: 1 building with 25 rooms on 5 floors and a second building with 3 rooms overlooking the first floor patio and 1 junior suite upstairs. Access to the second building is via the patio.

The hotel offers 6 room categories:

7 classic rooms with shower, 14 classic rooms with bath, 7 superior rooms with bath, 1 junior suite with shower, 4 connecting rooms with shower and bath, 3 adjoining rooms with bath.

What is the maximum capacity of the different room categories? 

In accordance with local regulations, maximum capacity varies according to room type:

  • 2 people: Classic Shower Room, Classic Bath Room, Superior Room
  • 3 people: Communicating Room (two rooms connected by a door), Junior Suite
  • 4 people: Adjoining rooms (two rooms side by side, no connecting door)

Can I pre-book a room with a view or on the patio?

Unfortunately not. We allocate rooms on the day of arrival, subject to availability. As the hotel is regularly fully booked, we cannot guarantee availability. However, we do our utmost to satisfy our customers, and are happy to accommodate special requests made in advance.

Can I request a specific room number? 

We cannot guarantee a room number. However, please let us know your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Can I bring outside food and drink into my room?

Unfortunately not. However, the hotel does offer a simple catering service (see Services-Room Service). Receptionists can also advise you on the best restaurants close to the hotel.

Can I smoke in my room?

Unfortunately not. All rooms are non-smoking. In the event of non-compliance, a penalty of €250 will be charged.

What about family or triple rooms?

Triple rooms are only available in Junior Suites and Communicating Rooms. We can add a baby bed in Superior and Junior Suites categories only.

Is it possible to have an extra bed in the rooms?

We do not have extra beds. We offer adjoining rooms for families. For your specific requirements, our team is at your disposal to propose the most suitable solution.

Services

Can I leave my luggage at the hotel even if I am not yet or no longer a guest?

Of course, the hotel has its own luggage room, where you can leave your luggage on arrival or after departure. If you're away for a few days, we can also store your luggage for you while you're out of town.

Can I use and plug in my electrical appliances in the hotel?

Adapters are on sale at reception. The current electrical voltage in France is 230 V. If one of your appliances is subject to a different current, we advise you to make your own arrangements.

Do you have a cot and other accessories?

For reasons of safety and comfort, a baby cot may be provided free of charge, only on prior request and in certain room categories.

Cot available only in the following categories:

This bed is exclusively reserved for children under 2 years of age. For safety reasons, babies cannot share a double bed with an adult or another child.

On request, we can also provide a high chair, stroller, changing mat and bottle warmer. Baby food and meals can be reheated in the microwave by our team.

Is internet access available throughout the hotel? Is it free?

Free wifi access is available throughout the hotel (rooms and public areas). If you don't have your own computer, we can lend you a tablet. An internet point is also available in the hotel lobby for internet access.

Our reception team is on hand to help you scan and print your documents.

Do you have a laundry service at the hotel?

Yes, the hotel offers a laundry service for a fee, available from Monday to Saturday, with the exception of public holidays.

You can leave your clothes in bags in your room and fill them in. Simply hand in your clothes at reception, and they will be sent directly to our partner dry cleaners.

An express 24-hour service is also available, at an additional cost.

Is the hotel accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Unfortunately, the configuration of the building does not allow the equipment to be adapted to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

Although we appreciate our animal friends very much, we do not allow them in the hotel.

What are the check-in procedures?

On arrival, a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard or AMEX) in the customer's name must be presented, together with proof of identity, to guarantee payment of the cost of the stay.

The presentation of an identity card is compulsory, in accordance with the requirements of local authorities. If the customer does not wish to provide credit card details, a deposit of at least €50 must be paid in cash or by credit card.

How can I benefit from early check-in or late check-out?

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability, so we cannot guarantee them. If early check in or late check out are part of your requirements, we advise you to book the night before or the night after.

Early check-in, when possible, is free of charge. Late check-outs are charged at 50% of the nightly rate for a departure before 2pm and 100% for a departure after 2pm.

Does the hotel have a restaurant?

The hotel does not have a restaurant, but offers room service with a varied menu and a full breakfast every morning. An elegant bar is also at your disposal.

In addition, the area offers a refined selection of restaurants and cafés, which our receptionists will be happy to recommend according to your tastes and desires.

Does the hotel have an elevator?

Yes, the hotel has an elevator serving all floors up to 5ᵉ.
Only the Junior Suite does not benefit from this direct access, as it is located in a separate building.

To get there, you have to cross a charming patio and climb a few steps leading directly to the bedroom.

Does the hotel have parking?

The hotel has no parking facilities. For greater peace and quiet during your stay, we recommend parking your vehicle in one of the 3 private parking lots close to the hotel:

What if I bring someone with me when I hadn't planned to?

Maximum capacity varies by room type: 2 people for Classic and Superior rooms, 3 for Communicante and Junior Suite, and up to 4 for Adjacent rooms.

For all requests concerning an extra person (including children), please contact the hotel before your arrival so that we can offer you a suitable solution, at an additional cost.

If I come to celebrate an event, do you offer a personalized welcome for the occasion?

Yes, of course, we can arrange a personal welcome for you or your friends in your room. Please contact our reservations department.

Does our establishment adopt environmentally responsible practices?

We are fully aware of our impact on the environment and have put in place several initiatives in favor of sustainable development:

  • Change of sheets every 3 days or on request
  • Faucets equipped with mousseurs to limit water consumption
  • Use of low-energy LED bulbs
  • Heating and hot water supplied by a steam system
  • Air conditioning only activated in summer
  • Free bottle of micro-filtered water every day in your room
  • Selective sorting of waste
  • Recycling and reusing printing paper
  • French and eco-responsible hospitality products

Neighborhood

Is the hotel located in a safe area?

The hotel is located on a quiet street in the evening. Police patrols are frequent.
The hotel has a 24-hour security presence and is equipped with a video surveillance system.

Is the neighborhood lively?

Rue du Bac is a busy shopping street during the day, which becomes quieter and calmer in the evening; you'll find ready-to-wear boutiques, restaurants, bars, chocolate makers, jewellers, takeaways, a small local supermarket, food shops and also Le Bon Marché, Conran Shop etc.

Near the hotel, there are numerous restaurants (brasseries, bistros,
gourmet restaurants, pizzerias...) that delight Parisians and visitors alike. The area is lively on weekdays and even more so on Saturdays, but a little quieter on Sundays.
